A 2G shop is a specially-qualified repair station recognized by the DMV for competence in the testing and repair of emissions systems. It is theonlytype of shop permitted by the DMV to perform emissions waiver repairs.

Are the mechanics certified?
All of our mechanics are ASE Master Certified Technicians. This means each mechanic has passed testing in all 8 major knowledge areas including: Engine Repair, Automatic/Manual Transmissions, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical Systems and Repair, Heating and Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance. Our lead mechanic is also Nevada 2G Emissions Test and Repair Certified by the DMV.
What is an emissions waiver?
A waiver allows for a vehicle to be registered for (1) year,even if it does not pass smog. To receive a waiver, a partial/attempted repair must be made at a 2G shop. Qualifications for a waiver include:
