The Nevada DMV requires an emissions test every year to register your vehicle.
Only with a passing emissions test will you be able to register/renew registration for your vehicle.

Most Vehicles 1996 or Newer
This form of testing is mandated for all light-duty vehicles 1996 and newer. The cost for this test is $27 total. No additional fees, taxes, or charges.

1967-1995, RVs, and Heavy Duty Trucks
Sometimes referred to as "2-speed testing", this test is mandated on all vehicles from 1967 to 1995. It is also mandated for RVs and heavy-duty trucks of any year. Heavy duty trucks are defined as vehicles with a GVWR of greater than 8500lbs.
The price of this test is $39 total. No fees, taxes, or additional charges!
This type of test usually takes around 10 minutes. No appointment is needed! Come by any time during business hours for a test!
